jimson weed Jimson Weed is the toxic weed that caused the illness (nauseous and dizzy, and in some cases suffered hallucinations) of six people after it has been cooked into an Indian potato stew few weeks ago in Gaithersburg. Jimson Weed is a type of plant that flourishes in sunny areas that can easily crop up in a home garden and can be mistaken for a cooking ingredient. All parts of the plant are highly toxic especially the seeds. Plants are the best medicine, but it can also be a poison if not used correctly.
