250px-dry-lips-4784 Cracked, dry or sore lips are both unsightly and painful. It is good to know what are the causes of it can be avoided. The lips will dry out with climate change, sun and wind exposure, dehydration, smoking or chewing, allergic reactions and vitamin deficiencies like vitamin A, B, C and B2. Prevention is better than cure.

Did you know that you can alleviate the pain by putting a teabag on it? You just have to dipped it in lukewarm water before putting it. Tea contains Tannins, which stop the pain almost immediately and coat the sore and help the healing process.
You can also apply lip gloss or unflavored lip balm, petroleum jelly, and aloe vera. By drinking plenty of fluids helps combat dehydration.
