I cannot forget while I was listening to a lecture about the importance of nursing care about pulse oximeter. The lecturer told us a story of the nurses who were not doing their responsibilities about changing the site or finger where the pulse oximeter. The finger of the patient became cyanotic and the nail was already dead because there was no blood circulation. It should be changed every eight hours or before the shift ends.

I woke today when my alarm went off at 7am. I read my devotional and ready myself up for our daily for our team devotion.

The reading was about Choose to rejoice taken from Acts 16: 25, ” But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.”

It is a good reminder that as Christians our joy should not depend on our circumstances. Joy comes from God, and therefore it cannot be affected by what is outside of us. We should not be fooled into letting the actions of others determine our joy. True joy comes from knowing that God Himself lives within us and has fellowship with us, regardless of…

I am so glad that I bought a digital camera before I went to another country. Canon camera is one of the best camera. It will take a great quality photos. Now I am not the only one who enjoyed the pictures I took but my family and friends as well. It is really fun to take pictures. It is also a great way to show the place and the people I work with.

I am now living in a foreign country in the village. The place is very far away from the town. I am glad that I am given an opportunity to request whatever I need in my house. Today I woke up feeling great. It was just kind of weird because today was the start of the week. So it did’nt feel like Sunday. After breakfast I resumed to work again in my computer. At 10:30am I went downstairs (our office) and asked Jess to install the printer in our office to my computer so I can print out. I needed to print a document and sign it, scan it and then send it back to the headquarters. So nice of Jess for helping me. I was not able to scan the document though because the CD installer cannot be found. So I will ask Sylvia tomorrow who was not around today. She is working in the office.…

I am sad to realize that my parents are not getting younger anymore. I do not know where the years went. Once in a while my dad is having joint problems. He can hardly walk when it comes.
