Happy new year! How did you celebrate your New Year? We had a watch night on new year’s eve in the church. It was so much fun, there were a lot of games, surprises and gift giving, and everyone was enjoying and of course, full of good food and well as spiritually. One of the surprises, to us adults was when the children volunteered to sing. The had practiced on their own and it turned out great. We were really enjoying their two back to back songs. The best point was that one of the songs they render was our favorite when we were kids. Now its theirs.

Bed frames

A very good missionary friend had visited me in our house during one of his missionary trips. We come from the same town and it was good if he could stop by my new place while he has the chance abroad. Two of his comments about what he has seen around were that he was proud of me being proud of him in introducing to my in-laws. Of course I am! And that he liked the way our furniture especially the bed frames were designed. It is the place where we have privacy and where we sleep so it was better off lovely and comfortable.

I was checking every place in our house and I notice that the sink need repair or better yet, replacement. It has been in service for so many years and besides, the sinks at faucet.com are very elegant and of aesthetic designs, and one would perfectly change the look of our sink now. Their affordable price is nothing compared to the beauty and serviceability of the sink for a cleaner home.

Nothing is more comfortable and relaxing than a
home theater seating, especially with recliners where we also have holders for our cups of coffee, or for good health, cup of tea. It is really worth the experience. It is like we are treated as ‘kings’ by the design that makes the body rest effortlessly. The seating, the leather material and the overall look and design are much better than that in the theater, not worth comparing. I also like the different colors available at the theater store. I can easily find one set that matches our house’s interior design.

I have been trying to recall lately what was it that hubby told me he wanted for Christmas. All I could think of are popcorn machines. I know he likes it, and I needed it too in the kitchen so we will not just rely on the instant popcorn that we just heat up. He likes it buttery but sometimes the popcorn are dry for him so getting this new machine we can make our own popcorn according to hubby’s specifications, and will surely make our home date watching movies so much better, for him, and of course me.

Spa covers

I recently put a cover or mural of the hot tub in the house. This material is from spascenes that supply accessories for spas and hot tubs. They have several designs. I really like it because it gives color now to the otherwise had been plain gray cover. And I like the view. The mural is of very durable and water-proof material, and it is easy to install, I did it just by myself. If you like it for your spas, get your scene from spascene. You won’t regret it.

We the current economy today, we can only be wiser to save and only spend for something that we really need, not for luxury. There are many ways to save and one important way is wise using of our home heater, especially this winter. We surely would burn more energy to be warm. Now we are considering to use heated blanket especially this time because I always get cold, my feet feel like ice. With this kind of blanket, which is operates at non-hazardous DC 120 low voltage, we will really be kept warm on bed and we can save on electricty for the house heater. Well, even without the heat, the blanket will still serve a good comfort and lovely…
