Learning to talk

I remember before I wrote about my baby who is learning to walk, but now oh! She is learning to talk already. She talked a lot though she pronounced some words with her own tongue. I love to listen to her and enjoying having a conversation with her. She is also following my command. I just can’t express my feeling for my baby. I love everything about her. She made me smile all the time. She is a joy to me and my treasure. She completes me and she is the best thing ever happened to me.

Thank you Lord! At last I am finished with my obligation for my installed laptop after 1 year of paying it monthly. It feels so great! and I am feeling very light this time. So happy because I have now more budget for our need everyday. It is not good to debt anything because we can be a slave to the one we owe something. One lesson learned that if we have plan to buy anything we will save first so we can purchase it as cash basis. Thank you again Lord for everything!

It is another year to celebrate and enjoy God’s faithfulness. 2011 has ended and I want to erase all the bad memories of yesterday and cherish all the good tings that happened through out the year. We welcomed the year watching firework display at the downtown center. When the clock clicked on the 12 midnight, lot of motorcycle and vehicle blew their horns as a sign of the New year. We had a lot of wow moments and was amazed by the beauty of lights in the sky. The city allotted thousands of money for that very special occasion and one way of showing thankfulness to the Creator.

I understand my younger brother’s emotion and feelings towards his girlfriend. I his stage of life physical attraction to opposite sex is at peak and therefore self control is needed and. Papa’s smoking habit continues regardless of the bad effects he is already experiencing. We are just asking him to smoke but not to the point that he is smoking every time. He can only stop smoking when he eats. He is only using the same brand and he never tasted montecristo cigars yet and maybe we will try to convince him to try it for a change.

Not yet my time

What had happened to us last day was so unimaginable. I can’t believe it was happening to me. The tragedy kept of flashing back to my memory and I got a hard time sleeping because all I think is why it is happening to me. I lost my balance when the step knot of the motorcycle gave up and I put my full strength into it because I was carrying my baby. Suddenly I was dropped and dragged a little before the motorcycle completely stopped. My left foot was cut and I got a lot of bruises and abrasions. When I stood up, I was asking if how’s my baby? hubby told me she’s fine because I was hugging her so tight in my arm. I really want to cry on that very moment but my tears won’t come out. I am still in the denial stage, I really thought I was only dreaming. When I touched my head I felt the blood coming out because of the impact, banged on a rock. I really felt the pain and after a minute I was already started crying so loud. I never expected that I would still here now. It is not yet my time.

I decided not to tell mother about what happened that time because I know how she will react and I don’t want her to worry so I called my sister Dailyn to come over to help attend my baby because I cannot do it with my own. I really appreciate my sister’s sympathy and support, she drove for 1 hour to come over me. She helped me a lot. I can really rely to her every time when I needed her. She is the only sister who’s still here with us. I would do the same to her. She can expect me to be there when she needed me also. Sisters are priceless! Missing my other sisters abroad. I thanked them also for showing their moral support in spite there was fault in my part to what happened.

A day later we went again for skull series and I praise the Lord for the result was all normal though I still experience some dizziness but I fell better now. All I complain this time is the pain of my abrasion in my lumbar area to the point that I cannot lie on my back because of it. Thank you Lord for sparing my life and my baby. I just learned one thing. God can take our lives in just a second therefore we will use our lives wisely. Invest more on eternal things because that’s only matter.

Growing city

I really appreciate the basement part of the new opened mall in our city ‘coz its very big and wide enough to accommodate lots of vehicle for parking. They have lots of basement flooring options but they have made the right choice in choosing the best flooring products. It is only showing that our city is growing because lots of establishments are present and some are still under construction.

Biblical hermeneutics

We had a three days seminar on biblical hermeneutics at Lantaw Bukid, Los Amigos, Davao City last November 24-26, 2011. The atmosphere was so quiet with very nice serenity. The food prepared was very delicious and tasty. Our lecturer was very enthusiastic and anointed. I met a lot of old friends from my past work assignment, we talked together recalling our past experiences and our present success.

When to start desciplining a child?

This question always on my mind if when to start disciplining a child ideally and Godly. Other would say if it still in the womb others also say when she /he knows already what is good and bad. But for me, I can say that it is really hard to decide when the perfect time is. My baby just turned 14th month though she knew already what is bad in her sight but still she won’t listen to me. I am hesitant to spank her or give her consequences of what she did because she is too little to receive such actions but I always explain to her what is good and bad. It’s depend to your instinct and choice when is really good to start disciplining your baby
