First time absent

It was my first time to absent from work yesterday. It is my goal not to absent or to be late in my work but there are just circumstances that cannot be avoided. I was sick and not feeling well. My tonsils are swollen and I have body pains. I just hope they will consider my reason of being absent even though I didn’t go on consultation.

Discount perfumes

I’ll be selling a discount perfumes soon when I go back in my homeland. I am so excited to sell it to my co nurses since they are all so excited to have it too. I am thankful to my sister for buying it in behalf of me. This is my one way of gaining something out of my Singapore vacation.

Food gifts

I am already thinking what could I bring souvenir for my friends who are expecting to receive a present from Singapore. I am a little bit confused and worried too because its very expensive here in Singapore, you cannot move without money in your pocket. But I will try to buy something for them, it depends to my left money. Maybe food gifts will do. I just hope I won’t dissappoint them.

Singapore reunion

What a blessing to be able to see face to face with my whole family here in Singapore. It’s been three years since our last meeting with my three sisters. What an opportunity God has given our family. We are forever grateful to the creator for allowing this things happened in our lives.We are enjoying the company of each other.

Graduated with flying colors

We are so proud to the man we supported to send to a Bible School because he is now graduated after four years of sacrifices and officially a Pastor, a preacher. He graduated with flying colors and received a lot trophies and awards because of his outstanding academic performances. His perseverance, vision, motivates him to reach his goal. He planned to continue for his secular study and he will take up Bachelor in Music.

Military model cars

We love spending our Sunday afternoon at the park. Aside from the very good ambiance and atmosphere of a place the park are most visited because of a car race activities every Sunday afternoon. Only this day we can have a time for our daughter. We are so very busy during weekdays because of the work commitments. Many people are watching because of a very interesting racing of a different type of cars like military models cars. My husband loves to watch this kind of game because he is a rider too

Issues and concerns ( April )

We got hard time diluting sterile water using the 3cc syringe and it takes time. There are only 2 supply of 10cc syringe every shift and it is not really enough but we just recycled and re used it. We already violated the sterility of the needle. It would be so good if the supply of 10cc will increase into 4 per shift.

Young ages, great talents

Though issues are being thrown to us but still God had blessed our church with a giving hearts. Someone donated an Italia Bass. We almost completed all instruments needed for our church. We are very thankful to that. This made our young people active in music ministry. It is very good to see them playing different instruments in their young ages. It gives a harmonious music which is a tool in worshiping God.

There are still a lot of unemployed registered nurses who are just staying at their houses attending their little sister or brother. The government already made a way to solve this issue but again it can’t accommodate all. This was my agony before but I thank you Lord for the opportunity which I didn’t expect. I encourage everyone there who has already finished their studies and yet still have work, try to post you resume at forever 21 application form and don’t forget to make it attractive to the employer by putting everything including your previous work experience.

Activities in the Picu

The common activities we did in the PICU are: For the ambubagging patients, checking the ET tube placement through auscultations if it is in place. It is very important to know this because in this way we can know if the patient receives adequate oxygen through proper ambubagging technique. Next, checking the OGT/NGT tube prior feeding to see if the tube is in place. We may know it is in the right place if we can hear air gurgling. Regulating the O2 to its desired liters per minute and refilling of water. We also assisted watchers in establishing feeding. It is our duty to see the oxygen gauge level to ensure patients are receiving enough oxygen especially the level 4…
