I just  love to share with to you all one of my patients in the Pedia ward which is my first area of assignment. An eleven year old very bubbly girl, a cancer patient but full of positive outlook in life. She’s been so cooperative with her treatment. She’s in the hospital for 7days and she misses her schooling according to her.

If she saw us giving meds to other patients she would also ask if she have one, that’s how talkative she is. One thing that made me think of her when I was giving med to her one time, I saw her writing in a table and to find out that she is jotting down the names of the nurses and doctors assigned to her, take note she memorized them all but I was not there for I am new and I don’t have an ID yet. hehe! She’s very cute. She even memorized her medications. I like her for not showing any signs of worry despite of her problem, all you can see in her face is the hope that somehow she can survive with the battle against cancer. I can’t really forget such girl. Hoping that every cancer patient would have the same spirit with her also.
