If someone will ask you by saying…if you are aware that you left for only three years to live from now on what will you do? What do you think would be your answer? The same question I ask from my neighbors and church mate. Some of them told me to enjoy life while you are still alive by eating to much food or drinking lots of beverages or whatever. Some young people told me to get marry and have children for them to see their offspring. Others also told me to do good so God will not forget a place for them in heaven. As I ponder the answers of many, I realized that few of them really understood the value of life and its purpose. First,we need to realized the importance of security and salvation to our souls. Our body will just decay but our souls if our body will die will go to another existence of life that is eternal. If we are save the bible told us that the destiny surely will be in heaven ( Phil. 3:20)but if not surely 100% the destiny will be to the lake of fire (Rev.20:15). Back to the given question above. If I was ask the same, my answer should be. First I have to make sure my destiny and that obtain by believing Jesus Christ as my personal savior, then live a holy life and make disciples. Those things will not be in vain and not will just passing by. Unlike golds, fame and other materials things that cannot bring us full satisfaction in life. A saying that says: Everything under the sun is vanity but only whats done for Christ shall lasts.
